Students are responsible for knowing the following:

Commercial organizations may not establish auxiliary enterprises on the campus and may not use College facilities without the prior written consent of the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Finance, Planning and Operations. This includes organizations owned, operated by or employing students or alumni of the College.

Students and staff may not establish or operate a business on campus property for personal profit, nor may they use campus facilities to conduct any portion of such businesses.

No person or organization may use the College name without prior consent and/or licensing agreement. This includes the use of “Occidental College," “Oxy," the College seal, logo or other identifying symbols. This policy specifically includes novelty items, internet advertisement, T-shirts or other types of publicity used either for campus events or events sponsored by an outside organization off campus.
