As a biochemistry major, Audrey Shawley took advantage of global opportunities, including a summer conducting graduate-level research in Thailand.
Oxy biochemists like Audrey seek to use their scientific knowledge and broad education in the liberal arts to advance the public good and improve health care, economic opportunities, environmental stewardship and national security. She has also worked to expand human understanding through teaching and research, including her youth science education organization Boundless Brilliance.
