Dyoni Isom, a recent graduate of Occidental College, is an emerging theater artist and director.
This will be her fourth summer as a member of Occidental College’s Children’s Theater troupe. Outside of the troupe she has worked as an assistant director at Boston Court Pasadena, on their productions of How the Light Gets In (2019) and Passion (2020). She also recently directed a production of Ntozake Shange’s for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf, with the focus of the piece being to create a space of healing for women of color. She is thrilled to be spending another summer with Occidental Children's Theater!
