Minutes of the 9/29/21 CCSRM Meeting

Call to Order: 1:35 p.m.

2. Attendance: Tirzah Blanche, Juno Raphael, Gillian Northway, Thalia González, Mike Hill, Jacie Feigelman, Adelina Lopez, Vivian Santiago, Isaiah Thomas, Rob Bartlett, Rick Tanksley, Jim Tranquada, Alex Fulcher
3. Charge - The Campus Committee on Sexual Responsibility & Misconduct will:
   1. review practices, procedures, and programming relevant to sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, and Title IX issues;
   2. provide feedback to the Title IX Coordinator on educational programs/initiatives and other sex discrimination policy initiatives; and
   3. guided by the Title IX Coordinator, review the Occidental College Sexual Misconduct Policy, within the framework of federal law and guidelines, and offer suggestions for update or revision.

   3. Specific ideas for “additional resources” for Title IX Office and survivor advocacy through Project SAFE
5. Anticipated Tasks
   1. October - Review “firm action plan” proposed for community
   2. November & December - Policy Revision Review
      1. Working Group Summer Work
         1. Revise Prohibited Relationship Policy language
      2. Changes to policy required by state law
   3. January - Climate Survey Results Review
      1. Open October 25-November 22
      2. Hope to have responses in clear report to review at the start of the spring semester for CCSRM to review and find action items/areas of opportunity
