Ebony Bailey is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, and journalist. Her work has been published in the LA Times, LA Weekly, and NPR. Her documentaries have been screened at film festivals and forums in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe. As a self-described “Blaxican,” Ebony tells stories about cultural intersections as a way to represent her community and build spaces of empowerment between diverse populations.
Originally from Central California, she is a graduate of USC’s Annenberg School for Journalism. Ebony currently resides in Mexico City, where she is completing a Masters Degree in Documentary Film at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
