About Brandon Shimoda
Brandon Shimoda is the author of several books of poetry and prose, most recently The Grave on the Wall (City Lights, 2019), which received the PEN Open Book Award, The Desert (The Song Cave, 2018), and Evening Oracle (Letter Machine Editions, 2015), which received the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America. He is the curator of the Hiroshima Library at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles and is currently writing a book on the afterlife of Japanese American incarceration. He lives in Tucson, AZ.
