Historically, Matriculation at Oxy has been the formal ceremony at which first-year students and transfer students are welcomed during Orientation by the President as new members of the Oxy community.
Although it was not possible to gather and attend an in-person Matriculation this fall, President Elam invites first-year and transfer students to join him virtually by selecting to attend one of the Matriculation "Welcome Sessions" being offered from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. PT on Tuesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 12.
