Dr. Rosenthal currently oversees the United Nations Development Programme "UNDP" communications strategy and serves as a leader to advance the mission of the organization. In her work, Rosenthal focuses on the intersection of rights and development, and specifically, the convergence between human rights policy and practice. Rosenthal is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

SHE IS AN EXPERT IN CITIES, IMMIGRATION, AND STATES IN THE WORLD ECONOMY, WITH INEQUALITY, GENDERING AND DIGITIZATION AS THREE KEY VARIABLES RUNNING THOUGH HER WORK. HER MOST RECENT WORK INCLUDES "EXPULSIONS: BRUTALITY AND COMPLEXITY IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMY" (HARVARD UNIVERSITY PRESS, MAY 2014).

Oxy Arts Speaker Series: Isabel Rojas Williams and Noni Olabisi in Conversation
Isabel Rojas-Williams, an Art Historian and curator, served as the Mural Conservancy Los Angeles Executive Director from 2011-2016. A native of Chile and resident of Los Angeles since 1973, she became an immediate and passionate fan of the mural movement here. She is a longtime civic activist who served as Mayor Villaraigosa’s liaison to the Latino, the Asian, and the African American Heritage Committees.
