Tickets for the 66th-anniversary presentation of Dance Production, the student-choreographed and student-performed terpsichorean extravaganza, go on sale Monday, March 17. It’s a longstanding Oxy tradition that traditionally sells out.
Tickets will be on sale in the Quad from Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for three performances only: Friday, March 21 (7 p.m.) and Saturday, March 22 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.). You can also send an email to dancepro@oxy.edu to purchase tickets.
Ticket prices are $10 general admission; $8 for Occidental alumni, faculty and staff; and $5 for Occidental students for the evening performances. The matinee is $5 for all.
Dance Production is the most popular and widely attended event on campus. Each year's impressive performance showcases the talents of more than 200 students, plus faculty, staff and alumni. Dancers and choreographers rehearse weekly all year long to prepare for the spring show.
This year's production includes belly-dancing, Irish, hip-hop, Bollywood, a break/swing piece, hula and many more!
