Starting July 15, five Occidental faculty members will share their expertise on The Academic Minute, a daily radio segment that highlights researchers from colleges and universities around the world.
The two-and-a-half-minute segments, which will feature a different faculty member every day, air on more than 70 NPR affiliate stations across the United States and Canada. They are also shared on the Academic Minute, NPR, and Inside Higher Ed websites.
The five Oxy faculty members are:
- Claire Cahen, Assistant Professor, Urban and Environmental Policy (July 15)
- Zachary Silver, Assistant Professor, Psychology (July 16)
- Natasha Sekhon, Assistant Professor, Geology (July 17)
- Syeda ShahBano Ijaz, Assistant Professor, Diplomacy and World Affairs (July 18)
- Raul Navarro, Assistant Professor, Chemistry (July 19)
