Brandon Lehr serves as the Interim Associate Dean for Curricular Affairs. In this role, he provides administrative oversight, stewardship, and overall management of the College’s curriculum, including the Core Program, the College Writing Program, and the College’s majors and minors. He also ensures adequate staffing of the College’s curriculum, both through the leading of tenure-line discussions in the Academic Planning Committee (APC) and by working directly to staff the College’s First Year Seminar program. Finally, he oversees the activities of the Undergraduate Research Center, the Center for Community-Based Learning and the Community Literacy Center, and in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, the MSI program.
Lehr is an Associate Professor of Economics, an applied micro theorist whose research areas include optimal public policy, social insurance, and behavioral economics.
