Born and raised in San Francisco, Nathan came to Oxy hoping to find familiarity in the urban environment of Los Angeles and access to the resources and opportunities of a small school like Oxy. On campus, Nathan is a member of the Diversity and Equity Board (DEB), one of our four branches of student government, a Resident Advisor (RA) for the Food Justice House, one of our Themed Living Communities, and a peer advisor in the International Programs Office (IPO) helping other students participate in study abroad programs similar to Nathan's experience abroad in Nepal in Fall 2021. Nathan has also participated in research on and off-campus and internships with organizations involved in environmental justice, labor, and community organizing and advocacy. In his free time, Nathan enjoys cooking, taking walks, and spending time with friends.
