Scott Blois recieved his Bachelor of Music degree from CSUN in 1984. He has participated in the Aspen Music Festival and the Music Academy of the West, as well as having a number of guest artist appearances around Southern California. Blois has been involved in opera outreach for the San Diego Opera, and has performed for years doing opera outreach in Orange County and the Inland Empire with the Orange County Opera. In the 1990's, Blois was a soloist with the L.A. Bach festival. He also spent over 25 years singing with the L.A. Master Chorale and in the L.A. Opera chorus. Blois has been on the an applied voice faculty at Occidental since 1996; as an instructor, he stresses vocal health, and lets his students decide what genre of music they want to use their voice for.
