Mellon Summer Arts Research Fellowship Info Session

Join us on January 27th, 2020, from 12 -1 in JSC Studenmund for an info session on the Summer 2020 Mellon Arts Research Fellowship. This fellowship is open to enrolled undergraduates conducting original, performing- or creative-arts-centric research. Topics should incorporate a tie-in to Los Angeles. Projects proposing collaboration with community partners, local arts organizations (archives, museums), and/or local arts practitioners are highly encouraged.

MAC Alumni Industry Insights Night

This Thursday, join the MAC department and the HCC in welcoming Oxy Alumni and local media professionals as they join a panel to discuss their careers in film/media, their experience at Oxy and how they navigated their professional lives. The panel will answer prepared questions for discussion, open Q&A from students and will engage in a student-alumni mixer.

 

SLICE Leadership Luncheon

The session will consist of a presentation on different styles of leadership and a quiz to see what type of leader you are. After the quiz we will form groups based on leadership styles and guide conversation as to how we can each become more effective leaders with these styles in mind.

This will be part one of a five part Leadership development series hosted by the SLICE Office. Attend as many sessions as possible for a chance to win prizes at the end of the year!

AltaMed Health Fellowship Info Session

The AltaMed Health Fellowship is an intensive PAID service project that allows students and recent graduates to explore career in social service and health education.

Students must be available to work 30 hours per week. It's great opportunity for someone studying for the MCAT or GRE. The fellowship will start in September 2019 and will runs about 8 to 9 months. Attend the info session to learn more!
