Convocation 2024
We are inviting all Oxy faculty, staff, and students to participate in the Convocation ceremony, featuring a procession of members of the faculty, administration, and Board of Trustees, along with the members of the Class of 2028, marching to the beat of the Taiko ensemble! The brief ceremony will include welcome messages from various members of the Oxy community and, of course, the amazing Occidental Glee Club, led by Professor Desiree LaVertu.
Members of the faculty and staff are welcome to march in academic regalia.
New Student Orientation
Orientation is designed to introduce you to life at Occidental, from academic expectations to opportunities for intellectual, cultural, and social involvement. New Student Orientation is compulsory for all incoming new students (including transfer, exchange, and visiting students).
