A brief update regarding the ongoing demonstration activity in the Quad.
College leaders met with the group's designated representatives today to discuss the issues and work toward a mutually agreeable resolution.
As part of those conversations, we have reaffirmed our ongoing expectations relating to conduct and safety, especially given how peaceful demonstrations have changed in tenor at some other institutions across the country. We feel that we have made valuable progress in opening communication and identifying concrete actions for a shared resolution. We will continue these conversations tomorrow and provide another update to the community as soon as additional information is available.
