
The annual Spring Showcase highlights and celebrates the social justice projects of Fall HJC courses.
Exhibits from the following courses will be on display from January 30 - February 28, 2025 on the first floor of the library.

- FYS 14: Race and the Environment
- FYS 20: Emancipation: Black Freedom in the Making
- FYS 24: Imagining Freedom
- BLST 240: Black Women Write Social Justice
Opening Reception & Celebration - Thursday, January 30, 2025
4:30-5:30 pm - Exhibits open, students from the courses will be present to discuss their work. First floor of the Library
5:30-7:00 pm - Anyone who attends an exhibit will receive a ticket for a free meal from the Kogi truck on the Quad
5:30-7:00 pm - Live music from Cambalache, a band from East LA who performs San Jarocho music
