Immediately following President Elam's keynote address, music industry leaders and artists John Branca ’72, Ramona Gonzalez '09, Bob Johnson ’77, and Ian Montone '89 will discuss the trends and challenges in the music industry, and how an Oxy liberal arts education prepares students to thrive in an ever-changing field.

Cultural Exchange Rate
Cultural Exchange Rate is an interactive live art project in which artist Tania El Khoury shares her family memoirs of life in a border village between Lebanon and Syria. One marked by war survival, valueless currency collection, brief migration to Mexico, and a river that disregards the colonial and national borders.

Kinzinger, a Republican, served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2022, representing Illinois’ 16th Congressional District. During his talk, Kinzinger will recount his time in public service and outline his hopeful vision for the future of the United States.
