Dear incoming students,
We can’t wait to see you in just a few days! Before arriving on campus, we encourage you to take a moment to review your New Student Orientation Schedule .
Your day will begin at Central Check-in located on the Johnson Student Center Walkway (view the location on our campus map). Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and closes at 2:30 p.m. We recommend entering campus at the intersection of Campus and Bird Roads. At Check-in, you will receive your orientation schedule, campus resource pamphlets, and swag from various offices welcoming you Occidental! You are welcome to explore the neighborhood after checking in and return to campus for our 5:30 p.m. Welcome to Oxy event.
Please remember that all of the Orientation sessions are mandatory. Our Orientation student leader cohort (known as O-Team) are ready to help you settle in, and you will be part of an O-Group designed specifically for the transfer experience.
