Many new students at Occidental have questions about, and seek out, employment opportunities on campus. Whether or not you attended last Thursday's Student Employment Webinar , we want you to have access to the recording of that session, as well as the (relatively short) Q&A transcript for your reference as you prepare for the start of your fall semester here.
This webinar was led by Occidental's Human Resources Department, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of Admission, and the Hameetman Career Center. Please note that any student enrolled in six or more units is eligible to work on campus; in short, every incoming student may apply for an on-campus job. That said, not all students qualify for work-study at Oxy; please watch the webinar recording to hear from our Director of Financial Aid, Sheryl Reinschmidt, about the two different work-study programs here on campus, as well as much more in-depth information about work opportunities at Oxy.
