In one of the world’s truly global cities, Oxy is a vibrant international campus where diverse backgrounds, interests, and ideas thrive, where international and multinational students feel welcome and supported. Once admitted to the College as a visitor or degree-seeker, international students are full participants in the academic and social life of the College, not separated in special classes or particular residence halls. As a part of Occidental's strategic plan, International Programs shares a commitment to fostering a Global Culture. Oxy hosts 138 international students from 30 countries: exchange/visiting students, and matriculated, degree-seekers and an increasing number of “multinational” students.
